who am I?

A creative octopus — part artist, part technician, part caffeine-powered problem solver. I animate, rig, code, model, and sometimes all at once. With too many arms and not enough hours, I thrive in the chaos of making things move beautifully and work seamlessly.

education / experience

  • 2012 – 2017 — College degree in Animation and Digital Arts – UFMG
  • 2016 – 2018 — Immagini Studio: Started as a 3D Generalist, then transitioned with the studio to 2D—handling character design, storyboards, 2D rigging, animation.
  • 2018 – 2019 — 2D Lab: Worked as a 2D Animator, leveling up in cut-out animation under senior mentors and sharpening my 2D rigging skills.
  • 2019 — Creator, “Caju e Malu” (pilot, with Immagini): boarded, designed characters, and solo-animated the pilot; blended 2D/3D for Malu’s plane sequences.
  • 2020 – 2022 — Combo Estúdio: 2D Animator & Animation Supervisor; also handled 2D rigging/builds. Credits: Swan Boy (FXX/Hulu), Hit-Monkey (Hulu/Disney+ intl.), and Netflix’s feature America: The Motion Picture.
  • 2022 — Bento Box Entertainment: 2D Animator on Netflix’s Mulligan (short-term engagement).
  • 2022 – 2025 — Titmouse: 2D Rig/Builds Supervisor leading teams up to 15 on BattlePlan, Tales of TMNT (S1–2), Agent Elvis, Haunted Hotel. Also acted as 3D generalist, built a 2D/3D Grease Pencil pipeline, integrated stylized 3D→2D renders into Toon Boom MCs, and deepened JavaScript/Qt tooling to create smarter rigs and advanced controllers.

projects

Stories and worlds I’ve had the luck to help build with amazing teams.

Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Titmouse / Nickelodeon / Paramount+

Served as 2D Build Supervisor for Seasons 1 and 2, and as 3D Generalist, developing a hybrid 2D/3D workflow. Built the turtles’ head rigs with custom Qt scripting and integrated Grease Pencil 3D renders via Master Controllers in Toon Boom. Also created and animated all 3D vehicles, from modeling and rigging to Grease Pencil compositing, ensuring a seamless 2D look.

Haunted Hotel

Titmouse / Netflix

Served as 2D Build Supervisor using Adobe Animate, leading a team of up to fifteen artists across the first two episodes of Season 1. Oversaw the creation of numerous character builds for the hotel’s many ghosts and demons, ensuring visual consistency and efficient production under tight deadlines.

Agent Elvis

Titmouse / Netflix

Worked as 2D Build Supervisor, leading a team of around twelve artists. Built a highly detailed Elvis head rig with multiple angles and full lipsync, based on a 3D model. Oversaw the creation of numerous character builds for the show’s crowd-heavy scenes, along with several Elvis variants featuring different outfits. Ensured consistency and expressiveness across all rigs throughout production.

BattlePlan

Titmouse / Pixel Vault

Served as 2D Build Supervisor, leading a team of fifteen artists on an NFT-based game project. Designed a modular rig system for three core characters — female, male, and mutant — built to support seamless skin and armor swaps in-game. Each rig was engineered with precise node structures to keep every animation consistent across more than thirty unique actions.

Mulligan

Bento Box / Netflix

Worked as a 2D Animator on the show’s first season. Although I had previously contributed to other international projects, this was my first time working directly with an overseas studio, providing valuable insight into their production structure and creative workflow.

Swan Boy

Combo Estúdio / Augenblick Studios / FX & Hulu

Served as 2D Rigger & Animation Supervisor for Combo Estúdio, leading a team of ~10 artists through Season 1. Developed cut-out style rigs using constraints, controllers, and deformers to streamline animation. Since the character designs were stylized, we leaned heavily on node-based rigs that allowed flexibility and fluidity in motion.

Hit-Monkey

Combo Studio / Floyd County / Disney+ / Hulu

Worked as a 2D Animator for Combo Studio, contributing to select scenes on *Hit-Monkey*. Helped bring momentary cuts and character motion to life, aligning my work with Floyd County’s animation direction and studio pipeline.

America: The Motion Picture

Combo Studio / Floyd County Productions / Netflix

Worked as a 2D Animator for Combo Studio on the feature film. During production, I gained valuable insight into advanced Master Controller setups in Toon Boom — including rigs enhanced with Qt scripting. This experience later inspired me to push my own rig programming further, exploring the full creative and technical range of the software.
